Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 annually

What you will do

  • Guide organizational growth and strategic vision while reporting to the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as the primary fundraiser, spokesperson, and community ambassador.
  • Build and optimize internal systems, team structures, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage, coach, and support a staff of 8 or more employees, fostering a psychologically safe workplace.
  • Oversee financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal sustainability.
  • Ensure youth voice and dignity are integrated into program design and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit organization or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of building internal structures and managing teams of 8+ staff.
  • Experience in fundraising, partnership-building, and managing board relationships.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Phoenix, Arizona and travel within the state.
  • Lived or professional experience with the foster care system is highly valued.
