What you will do

• Lead the IT Engineering function as a player-coach, managing a team of two direct reports.
• Own identity and SaaS lifecycle management across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian.
• Manage a macOS-heavy endpoint fleet using Iru or similar MDM tooling to maintain secure device posture.
• Drive the IT portion of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness, including evidence collection and control testing.
• Lead internal AI tooling enablement, including support for Claude Cowork and rollout of MCP servers.
• Manage SaaS renewals and the IT budget to improve cost efficiency and tooling effectiveness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT or IT engineering experience in identity, endpoint management, and SaaS administration.
• Experience leading others through mentoring, coordinating work, and raising operating standards.
• Hands-on experience with Okta (or Entra/JumpCloud) and macOS MDM tools (Iru, Jamf, Kandji).
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Zsh to build automation.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 IT controls.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Daily use of AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) in professional workflows is required.
