What you will do

• Lead and support product engineering teams building hirify.globalStudio and hirify.globalTrain.
• Own engineering quality and delivery, ensuring reliable execution and consistent standards.
• Increase productivity by removing blockers and improving team coordination and sprint execution.
• Establish and evolve scalable processes, including sprint rituals and prioritization.
• Partner with founders on performance management, feedback cycles, and growth paths.
• Stay close to the codebase through technical decisions, code reviews, and occasional hands-on development.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading software teams in a fast-moving environment, ideally at a startup.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to go deep technically when needed.
• Experience building and shipping complex software products across ML, backend, and frontend.
• Comfort working with senior engineers and researchers in a high-autonomy environment.
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder alignment ability, and a product-focused mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with PyTorch and ML training or data-centric workflows.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, modern web frontends, and Rust for performance-critical components.
• Experience improving CI/CD, testing strategy, benchmarking, and developer experience.
• Experience scaling teams and engineering practices during company growth.
