What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens for laboratory testing.
• Oversee the daily operations of the designated Patient Service Center (PSC) and the local phlebotomy program.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and record results in quality-control logs.
• Report KPIs to product management leadership on a biweekly basis.
• Manage PSC vendors and coordinate the distribution and claiming of blood draws.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA/PHI privacy standards and legal regulations.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Joplin, MO.
• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• 5+ years of high-level customer care experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Phlebotomy Certification (preferred or as mandated by state regulations).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds of supplies.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams.
• BS/BA degree.
• Bilingual language skills.
• Previous financial and budgetary experience.
