NDT Level II MT (Bench and Yoke) Technician

TL;DR

NDT Level II MT Technician (Bench and Yoke): Perform magnetic particle testing examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and NAS-410 for aviation inspections with an accent on scope and limitations of MT methods. Focus on preparing written instructions, organizing and reporting examination results, and providing OJT guidance to trainees.

Location: Onsite at Marietta, GA office, 2nd shift (7p-4a M-F); U.S. Persons only (ITAR requirements); relocation assistance available for highly qualified candidates.

What you will do

• Perform NDT MT examinations using bench and yoke techniques on materials per procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Interface with managers and clients to determine scope of work and priorities to meet expectations.
• Prepare written instructions and organize/report examination results.
• Provide OJT and guidance to trainees while exercising responsibility for methods qualified.
• Work independently, support team members, and handle other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• NDT Level II certification in MT with documentation of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with aviation inspections per NAS-410.
• Working knowledge of industrial environments and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with departments and customers to report issues and solve problems.
• Pass drug screen, valid driver’s license with clean record, U.S. Person status (ITAR).
• Ability to lift 100 pounds, work 2nd shift with OT, in industrial environments with radiation/hazardous materials, wearing safety equipment.
