Machinist / NDE / Physical Test - Lab Technician

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment to produce weld metal test specimens.
• Inspect specimens for dimensional requirements and tolerances, and document inspection and test data.
• Prepare test assemblies and perform procedures for radiographic examination.
• Perform physical testing of weld specimens and materials, calculate results, and evaluate compliance with specifications.
• Complete training and qualification requirements for Level II Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, and Visual Testing.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment, maintain calibration records, and support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5–8 years of relevant manufacturing, machining, laboratory, or technical experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with manual machining and CNC machine setup and operation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency for data entry, documentation, and communication, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting multiple laboratory functions.
• Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
