Senior Frontend Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Frontend Developer (React/Fullstack): Developing innovative, high-scale financial and banking applications for global clients with an accent on cross-stack integration and architectural leadership. Location: Remote (Global). Candidates residing in Canada may be hired as employees; candidates outside of Canada will work as independent contractors.

Salary: CAD $120,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and maintain complex, responsive web applications from the ground up using modern stacks.
• Design modular, scalable, and reusable code structures to serve as the foundation for future growth.
• Integrate diverse APIs and services across Java, .NET, and Node.js to ensure seamless data flow.
• Transform high-fidelity prototypes into performant, accessible, and pixel-perfect frontend code.
• Optimize application performance to ensure sub-second response times and cross-browser consistency.
• Lead code reviews, establish technical best practices, and mentor intermediate developers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack development, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead role.
• Production-grade experience in Java (Spring Boot), .NET (C# / .NET Core), and Node.js.
• Expert proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• 5+ years of deep experience with TypeScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure backend systems (App Services, Functions, Key Vault).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Credit Unions, Banking, or Fintech platforms.
• Experience deploying applications across AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with React Native or native mobile development.
