What you will do

• Design and implement features across frontend, backend, and cloud components.
• Capture technical requirements and contribute to high-level and low-level architectural designs.
• Develop production-grade Python and SQL code for complex, microservice-based, event-driven systems.
• Implement and maintain testing strategies and automation across the entire stack.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with lead engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

• Must reside in the US and be a US Citizen.
• Ability to pass a Federal Personnel Security clearance.
• BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with 4+ years specifically in Python backend applications.
• Deep expertise in Django and FastAPI, and fluency with React, Expo, Vite, and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, RDS) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Pulumi).

• Experience working in or with government sectors.
