What you will do

• Complete 12-16 weeks of comprehensive classroom, online, and on-the-job training.
• Operate and inspect various power plant systems, including boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform routine daily rounds, maintain logs, and execute testing and inspection requirements.
• Participate in controlled shutdowns and startups of critical assets.
• Apply lean tools and problem-solving methods (PSR) to improve safety, quality, and cost.
• Collaborate with Shift Supervisors and Control Room Operators to report malfunctions and trends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a rotating shift.
• Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear a full-face respirator.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the USA (Midwest region opportunities available).

• Prior experience working with high pressure boilers or electric generating equipment.
