Scrum Master

Scrum Master (Agile): Facilitating the Scrum delivery process and managing traditional project management duties to deliver maximum customer value with an accent on team coordination, scope definition, and budget oversight. Focus on removing impediments, authoring user stories, and guiding sprint-related ceremonies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Location: Hybrid: Charlotte, NC

What you will do

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure a smooth Scrum process.
• Manage traditional project management duties including scope definition, staffing, budget oversight, and risk/issue management.
• Extract and document requirements by authoring user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Remove impediments and resolve team conflicts to allow the team to focus on engineering tasks.
• Track progress daily and collaborate with the Product Owner to transform requirements into working software.
• Ensure product quality expectations are defined and help the team manage technical debt.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Project Management and/or serving as a Scrum Master.
• Ability to manage more than one significant project simultaneously.
• Practical understanding of how to scope and estimate work and knowledge of financial controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities.

Nice to have

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst and/or Tester.
