What you will do

• Plan and manage medium to large projects from initial conception through transition to operations.
• Coordinate across multiple departments to deliver new business value and optimize organizational results.
• Develop and measure project plans including scope, resource estimations, funding, and implementation schedules.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve consensus and drive results in a shared resource environment.
• Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead vendor and solution selection processes and manage ongoing vendor relationships and budgets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional project management experience with a track record of successful delivery.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate difficult conversations and present complex ideas succinctly.
• Expertise in project planning, business process development, risk, and communication management.
• Experience with technical planning, vendor management, and budget/resource oversight.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in Austin, USA.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile (Scrum), and/or Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies.
• Experience within the financial industry.
