TL;DR

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA

Salary: $185,000–$315,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Co-architect and build production AI agents with customer engineering teams.
  • Own the technical win in pre-sales through POC design and technical evaluations.
  • Guide customers in deploying agent-based applications such as conversational and research agents.
  • Provide post-sale architectural advice and roadmap guidance.
  • Conduct technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences.
  • Contribute field feedback and reusable patterns back to the platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a technical role (software/customer/solutions engineering), ideally in a startup.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and systems fundamentals.
  • Experience designing LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including orchestration and failure handling.
  • Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs and build trust with developer audiences.
  • Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site).
  • Ability to travel up to 40% to customer sites.

Nice to have

  • Experience with hirify.global, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, and Kubernetes.
