What you will do
- Coordinate front desk reception and student service processes, ensuring seamless and accessible support for clients.
- Manage the Accommodation Letter project, verifying and updating over 1,600 letters annually using the Student Information System.
- Administer Early Alert requests and coordinate suicide prevention training (QPR) sessions.
- Handle financial administration, including Canada Study Grant requests for the Ministry of Education and bi-weekly payroll for student assistants.
- Supervise and train over 60 senior student assistants, especially during peak exam periods.
- Maintain highly confidential client records and prepare statistical reports on appointment bookings and workshop responses.
Requirements
- High School graduation plus one year of post-secondary education.
- At least 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Centre for Accessibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond with tact and sensitivity to distressed students.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
