Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 a year

What you will do

• Design and implement backend application components, specifically FHIR operations, using Java and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain core product code with a strict focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, adhere to team standards, and contribute to evolving development practices.
• Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Build and iterate on proof-of-concept integrations and resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for the platform.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Solid experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, SQL, and Git.
• Experience with end-to-end feature development and unit testing practices.
• Must be based in the US.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7, or FHIR.
• Experience with Apache Camel and building robust integration patterns for disparate systems.
