Location: Hybrid with ability to commute to Columbia, MD/Northern VA or Boston, MA office. Must be US Citizen authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Salary: $114,500 - $152,500 USD

What you will do

• Build high-performance infrastructure for data ingestion, storage, and retrieval in distributed systems.
• Work with Kotlin, Java, Snowflake, CockroachDB, and Kafka to manage evolving data landscapes.
• Contribute to design and architectural decisions for cloud-native microservices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to iterate on security products.
• Execute technical projects in an Agile environment with accountability for production software.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in software development focused on distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, CockroachDB, Kafka, or similar datastores.
• Strong background in Kubernetes and containerized microservice architectures.
• Must be US Citizen for FedRAMP.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
