Integration and Test Engineer (Defense-Aerospace)

TL;DR

Integration and Test Engineer (Defense-Aerospace): Provide test engineering support to production IPTs by defining test process plans, developing detailed test procedures, and generating troubleshooting guides for CCAs. Focus on analyzing test defects, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing test processes including fixtures, hardware, and software.

Location: Onsite in Clearwater, FL (4/10 shift, 2nd shift). Candidate must have ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Hourly Rate: up to $65/hr (W2, non-benefited)

What you will do

• Define test process plans, including sequence of test steps, tools, fixtures, software, hardware, and interfaces.
• Develop detailed test procedures with narratives, diagrams, and photographs.
• Generate troubleshooting guides and analyze test defect data to implement corrective actions.
• Support change management and provide day-to-day test engineering to work cells, resolving technician issues and improving test processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience in CCA test and circuit troubleshooting.
• Ability to review Power, RF, Digital, and Analog test documents (schematics, parts lists, drawings) to develop test procedures.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot test fixtures interfacing between tester and product.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (not needed to start).

Nice to have

• Experience with automated tester platforms like National Instruments, Autotest, NHR, Teradyne Spectrum 9100.
• 5+ years in design and test of CCAs across digital, analog, power, RF technologies.
• Software development in test-related languages.
• 3-5 years detailed CCA test and troubleshooting experience.
