Software Test Engineer (UAS)

What you will do

• Develop test requirements, detailed integration test plans, procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), and test reports.
• Execute qualification and acceptance testing to ensure drones are safe and compliant with defense standards.
• Write and execute Engineering Verification Test (EVT), Design Verification Test (DVT), and Production Validation Test (PVT) procedures.
• Develop automated test scripts and control logic using Python or LabVIEW to improve repeatability and data quality.
• Troubleshoot prototype issues and document findings through Test Discrepancy Reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers while maintaining traceability within PLM systems.

Requirements

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (required for ITAR/EAR compliance).
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• 6+ years of experience providing technical leadership.
• Degree in engineering.
• Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Python and LabVIEW.
• Experience with UAVs, robotics, or complex electromechanical products.

• Experience with flight test or field testing.
