What you will do

• Lead the technical shaping and delivery of all Data and AI platform initiatives.
• Define the AI platform strategy to facilitate business-wide adoption of machine learning.
• Oversee technical discoveries and foster innovation across the technology organization.
• Set and monitor engineering metrics like DORA and delivery KPIs to drive improvements.
• Explore and implement agentic AI tools to automate workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
• Align technical roadmaps with business goals while balancing technical debt and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and leading multiple high-performance platform engineering teams.
• Background in creating data and AI platforms as a product using agile methods.
• Deep technical expertise from a previous career as a senior platform or data engineer.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through change in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills to make complex technical topics accessible.
• Legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship is required.
