What you will do
- Oversee quality checks from goods-in to final product, ensuring strict compliance with SOPs and specifications.
- Manage product complaints, non-conformances, and food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions quickly.
- Coordinate product, environmental, and water sampling and manage lab submissions.
- Lead GMP and hygiene inspections, including glass and plastic checks and pest control monitoring.
- Manage and train a team of QC operators, conducting performance reviews and development plans.
- Collaborate with Production, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with the quality strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in QA/QC roles within food manufacturing or regulated production environments.
- Working knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, guide, and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Email).
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to work on-site at the East Midlands Gateway factory on a rotating shift basis.
