What you will do

• Oversee quality checks from goods-in to final product, ensuring strict compliance with SOPs and specifications.
• Manage product complaints, non-conformances, and food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions quickly.
• Coordinate product, environmental, and water sampling and manage lab submissions.
• Lead GMP and hygiene inspections, including glass and plastic checks and pest control monitoring.
• Manage and train a team of QC operators, conducting performance reviews and development plans.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with the quality strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA/QC roles within food manufacturing or regulated production environments.
• Working knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, guide, and inspire a team.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Email).
• Good spoken and written English.
• Ability to work on-site at the East Midlands Gateway factory on a rotating shift basis.
