What you will do

• Lead and coordinate inspection activities, including the allocation of work and oversight of other inspectors.
• Inspect fabricated steelwork, pressure boundary components, pipework, and welded assemblies.
• Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and manufacturing documentation packs.
• Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Support and lead inspections and audits conducted by clients, third parties, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure strict adherence to nuclear quality expectations, traceability requirements, and hold-point control.

Requirements

• Experience in Quality Inspection within regulated environments such as nuclear, energy, oil & gas, or aerospace.
• Demonstrable experience leading and coordinating inspection activities.
• Recognized qualification such as CSWIP Welding Inspector 3.1, PCN / ISO 9712 Visual Inspection, or equivalent.
• Formal understanding of quality management systems like ISO 9001.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Must be based on site in Hull, UK.

Nice to have

• NDT qualifications (UT, RT, PT, MT).
• Specific experience with nuclear quality standards.
