What you will do

• Define and govern regulatory roadmap for hardware products, ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and North American standards.
• Lead certification lifecycle, managing submissions for UKCA, CE, UL, and FCC markings; liaise with test labs and agencies.
• Manage Technical Construction Files and Declarations of Conformity for audit readiness.
• Oversee QMS per ISO 9001, drive continuous improvement and "Compliance by Design" in engineering processes.
• Monitor quality metrics, field failures, and non-conformances; support root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years in product compliance or quality engineering, with Senior/Lead experience
• Expert knowledge of CE Marking (EMC, Low Voltage, RED, RoHS), UKCA, UL, and FCC standards
• Experience managing complex documentation like Technical Files, User Manuals, and compliance labels
• Strong analytical skills to interpret regulations and translate into engineering requirements
