What you will do

• Develop and design secure solutions and produce comprehensive Security Design documentation.
• Deconstruct solution and network architectures to identify potential security gaps.
• Identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities using industry-standard practices such as STRIDE and MITRE.
• Interpret technical threats into business risks to assist stakeholders in assessing likelihood and impact.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and articulate security designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate and weigh the risks and benefits of various competing security design options.

Requirements

• Ability to design secure solutions and document effective security controls.
• Experience in threat modeling and vulnerability mitigation.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders within projects and the wider business.
• Capability to manage multiple challenging projects simultaneously.
• Must be based in the UK to support hybrid working (at least 2 days per week in office)

Nice to have

• Awareness of security standards such as ISO 27000, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, or OWASP.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, or OSCP.
• Experience working with public or private cloud environments.
