What you will do

• Lead strategic pricing engagements for B2B and B2C Open Access products, including annual updates and new propositions.
• Implement pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
• Define and automate tracking for Open Access volume, yield, and price metrics.
• Develop and implement AI algorithms and machine learning tools to optimize pricing and predict market trends.
• Manage cross-functional alignment and oversee the Pricing Analytics Manager via a dotted line relationship.
• Provide regular status reports and briefings to the executive leadership team.

Requirements

• Right to live and work in the UK is required.
• Proven experience developing and implementing pricing strategies within the data hirify.globaltion services industry.
• Background in niche strategy consultancy or an in-house Strategic Pricing Team.
• Advanced analytical skills in SQL, Python, and R, and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong bias towards using AI and automation tools for data-driven decision-making.
• Experience executing global initiatives across multiple countries and regions.

Nice to have

• Experience within the Open Access pricing function of an Academic Publisher.
