TL;DR

Senior Analyst (Risk Technology) (Fintech): Building automated systems and controls to proactively detect problems and improve customer outcomes in risk management with an accent on data flow investigation and scalable automation. Focus on implementing AI-enabled tooling and SQL/Python solutions to replace manual controls.

Location: Hybrid in London (requires 2-3 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to document and understand undocumented business processes.
• Analyze data movement through systems to determine monitoring and automation needs.
• Develop scalable automated solutions using SQL, Python, and AI tools.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support system architecture implementation.
• Improve the reliability and scalability of operational issue detection and prevention.
• Establish reusable approaches and patterns for the growing risk analytics function.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a structured approach.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or similar analytical tooling.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and drive work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and challenging assumptions.
• Must have the right to work in the UK

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, consulting, or fast-paced operational environments.
• Practical experience using AI tools to solve real business problems.
• Demonstrated coding curiosity through personal projects or courses.
