What you will do

• Design, build, and operate data infrastructure for analytics, ML, and decision-making.
• Serve as DRI for core analytics infrastructure (StarRocks, Pinot, Trino) and compute/orchestration services (Airflow, Temporal, EMR, Hive Metastore).
• Drive improvements in security, cost efficiency, and developer experience.
• Build automation and self-service tools for data workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and security teams on scalable solutions.
• Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting via Grafana.
• Mentor engineers and define best practices for data ecosystem.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card holder). Unable to provide visa sponsorship.
• 10+ years in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering, including data-intensive systems.
• Experience building, deploying, and operating distributed infrastructure at scale.
• Strong background with big data technologies (Pinot, StarRocks, Trino, EMR, Airflow, Hive Metastore, Kubernetes or equivalents).
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, Bash, SQL.
• Proficiency with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Vault, Terraform, Chef, Grafana.
• Deep understanding of reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
