Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (US Citizenship required)

Salary: $197,300 – $344,700 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate reliable data infrastructure for analytics and ML workflows.
• Serve as DRI for core analytics infrastructure including StarRocks, Pinot, and Trino.
• Manage compute and orchestration services such as Airflow, Temporal, and EMR.
• Drive initiatives for security, cost efficiency, and improved developer experience.
• Build automation and self-service tools to empower data teams.
• Mentor and coach engineers while defining technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required (no visa sponsorship available).
• 10+ years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience operating distributed infrastructure at scale.
• Strong technical background with big data technologies (Pinot, StarRocks, Trino, EMR, Airflow).
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, Bash, and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Vault, and Grafana.
