What you will do

• Architect and design high-performance distributed systems to enable direct publisher integrations and transparent supply paths.
• Lead platform infrastructure efforts, including components for Prebid header bidding and publisher tooling.
• Develop and maintain the publisher platform that allows publishers to manage their integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and inventory teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and establish high technical standards for system reliability and platform development.
• Optimize system performance to support large datasets with high availability and low latency.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and scaling large distributed systems.
• Strong architectural skills with a focus on reliability, performance, and scale.
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring other engineers.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and iterate quickly within a fail-fast culture.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA.
