What you will do

• Own product engineering delivery across five key teams: Pipelines, Test Engine, Packages, Agents & Compute, and Releases.
• Coach and develop Engineering Managers and grow Staff and Principal engineers into broader influence.
• Translate product strategy into delivery reality, managing trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality.
• Define technical direction and ensure architectural consistency across the product portfolio.
• Maintain operational excellence, reliability, and performance for customer-facing surfaces.
• Act as the technical voice of engineering to the executive team, board, and enterprise customers.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading product engineering organizations through meaningful scaling and managing managers.
• Hands-on engineering background capable of reviewing code and making sound architectural calls.
• Experience leading teams building developer tools, CI/CD, or similar technical B2B products.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, Go, and PostgreSQL at scale.
• Comfortable leading distributed teams across AU/NZ and US Pacific time zones.
