Broadcast Network Engineer (Broadcast)

What you will do

• Maintain the network ecosystem to ensure stability and responsiveness for hub and field engineering staff.
• Manage network security protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all network systems.
• Provide technical support for broadcast network systems throughout the mobile fleet.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers, and clients to ensure the consistency and high availability of the network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Technical or Associates degree in information technology or a combination of education and experience.
• Legal right to live and work in Australia is mandatory.
• Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of network protocols including BGP and EVPN-VXLAN.
• Hands-on experience with IPSec VPN setup and management.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions and Cloud technologies.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the broadcast television industry.
• Knowledge of Multicast.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation.
