What you will do

• Design and implement technical solutions to address business needs.
• Provision and maintain organization-wide storage, backup, and render servers.
• Monitor physical and logical systems and analyze health data to report on system stability.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and emergencies via a ticketing system.
• Administrate infrastructure across on-premises, remote data centers, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to maintain critical and peripheral infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a systems administration role.
• Proficiency with Linux desktop and server systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking theory (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing) and services (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SMB, NFS).
• Experience with modern hardware, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with storage clusters such as NetApp, Isilon, or Avere.
• Knowledge of render farms or high-performance distributed computing.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, VMware, KVM, Git, Perforce, or Jira.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
