Fund Accounting Manager (Private Equity)

Salary: $96,800 – $123,200

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive fund accounting and administration for private equity clients, including NAV preparation and review.
• Manage and train a team of Fund Accountants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to facilitate smooth NAV completion.
• Review and approve fee schedules, including management and carried interest calculations based on fund documents.
• Oversee investor allocations, waterfall calculations, capital calls, and distribution wires.
• Lead the preparation and review of audited financial statements and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• University degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in the fund administration industry within Private Equity, including staff management.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth understanding of fund structures, fee calculations, and financial instruments.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Tampa, FL, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with fund accounting software such as Geneva, Investran, or Yardi.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA or equivalent).
