Salary: $128,000–$168,000

What you will do

• Review, reconcile, and analyze key financial data across insurance companies and subsidiaries to ensure integrity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Securities Controllership, Alternative Investments, Treasury, and ERM.
• Participate in the implementation of the company’s new ledger and other critical financial projects.
• Prepare and present monthly financial analysis reports to senior management.
• Identify and resolve differences within investment and accounting systems using critical analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance the overall control environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of experience in investment or insurance accounting.
• 6+ years of experience with U.S. GAAP and/or STAT.
• Ability to work onsite in Boston or Springfield, MA.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA certification.
• Master’s degree.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive narratives from complex data sets.
