What you will do

• Lead development of controls designs and diagnostics for new engine and transmission systems using Lean-Agile principles.
• Collaborate with calibration teams to design robust algorithms meeting vehicle system requirements.
• Conduct analysis and prototype design changes using Matlab, Simulink, and INCA.
• Lead algorithm FMEA and analyze failure modes to meet safety and government regulations.
• Verify functional performance of designs through testing on SIL, HIL, and vehicle platforms.
• Leverage AI to develop innovative methods that improve engineering efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in a job-related area.
• DFSS Black Belt Certification.
• Proficiency in Simulink, MATLAB, DOORS, and GIT environments.
• Working knowledge of C programming and sub-system integration.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering with a focus on controls.
• Hands-on experience with control theory, algorithm tuning, and BDD/TDD.
• Experience with INCA/ETAS data acquisition and CRETA calibration delivery.
• Proven experience mentoring other engineers.
