What you will do

• Design and analyze power grids for SoCs.
• Setup flows and run EMIR analysis for large subsystems and full SoCs.
• Develop test cases and vectors for IR, thermal analysis, and power estimation in collaboration with architects, designers, verification, and physical design teams.
• Partner with EDA vendors to evaluate new EMIR methodologies.
• Maintain dashboards for EMIR rollups and track status.
• Perform root cause analysis on IR drops, low coverage, and correlate pre- and post-silicon power measurements.

Requirements

• Location: USA, CA, Cupertino
• Experience identifying bugs in architecture, algorithms, functionality, and performance with strong debugging skills.
• Experience verifying logic at multiple levels from IP blocks to SoCs and full systems.
• Understanding of Physical Design, EM/IR, Power Integrity, and Thermal at die, package, board, and server levels.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or related field.
• Experience with formal verification, ARM and DSP ISAs.
• Familiarity with Make for automation, RTL design (SystemVerilog), PnR tools (FusionCompiler/Innovus), power analysis (PrimePower), timing analysis (PrimeTime).
• Experience with lab equipment and power analysis.
