What you will do

  • Own assigned HEDIS measure(s), monitoring performance trends, conducting gap-to-goal analysis, and reviewing 60–80 charts per day.
  • Abstract medical records accurately per NCQA HEDIS specifications and document findings.
  • Audit data streams for completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with providers and clinical teams to identify and close care gaps through insights and workflow integrations.
  • Collaborate with data, analytics, and clinical teams to validate sources and improve reporting.
  • Serve as SME on HEDIS measures in areas like women's health, cardiovascular, diabetes, or preventive screening.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of HEDIS abstraction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage, HEDIS measures, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Accountability, ownership mindset, and effective communication/collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate data/chart findings into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field (or equivalent).
  • Experience with HEDIS abstraction tools, EHR systems, and provider workflows.
  • Exposure to STAR ratings performance strategy.
