IT Manager (eCommerce)

TL;DR

IT Manager (Infrastructure): Managing and optimizing IT infrastructure and technical support for a growing hair wellness company with an accent on mixed Mac/PC environments and secure architecture. Focus on scalability, vendor management, and coordinating technical onboarding/offboarding processes.

Location: Hybrid (NYC) — Must be based in New York City and able to be in-office 2-3 days per week

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 USD

What you will do

• Respond to employee tech support requests and manage the help desk ticketing system for AV, software, and network connectivity.
• Implement and maintain a highly secure infrastructure environment and architecture.
• Manage all vendor relationships related to hardware, software, and security.
• Partner with People Ops to create best practices for onboarding and offboarding employee equipment.
• Maintain office systems, including network connectivity and conference room AV.
• Brief the Executive team on IT matters and enforce standard security principles.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in mixed Mac & PC environments.
• 2+ years of experience hiring and managing teams.
• Experience managing G-Suite is required.
• Working knowledge of JIRA service desk.
• Experience working with remote employees and remote logistics is required.
• Previous experience in scaling companies, agencies, or startups.

Nice to have

• eCommerce experience.
• Experience with Kandji.
• Experience implementing infrastructure performance monitoring for hybrid cloud systems.
