What you will do

• Design and manage a fully cloud-based IT environment ensuring high availability and security across SaaS platforms.
• Strengthen security posture by improving access controls, device posture, and risk mitigation.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate manual workflows using scripting and APIs.
• Lead cross-functional IT projects and mentor junior team members in best practices.
• Administer Google Workspace and email security platforms (e.g., Proofpoint) with a focus on deliverability.
• Perform deep root cause analysis for complex IT issues and oversee new hire onboarding.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT Engineering or Systems Administration within cloud-first environments.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep expertise in Google Workspace administration, routing, and security.
• Hands-on experience managing macOS and Windows endpoints using Jamf and Intune.
• Proficiency with Okta, Slack, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) approaches.
• Ability to automate workflows using Python, Bash, or APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Proofpoint or equivalent email security platforms.
