What you will do

• Own competitive intelligence gathering and analysis for Databricks (primary), Google BigQuery, and IBM watsonx, delivering actionable insights.
• Conduct research using internal and external sources, applying GenAI tools like Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and Crayon.
• Develop prompt libraries, monitor competitor activity with AI tools, and maintain factual accuracy.
• Create battlecards, deep dives, sales enablement materials, and collaborate on positioning and messaging.
• Provide real-time sales support, deliver training programs, and present insights to executives.
• Maintain competitive intelligence knowledge base and influence product roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or similar.
• 5+ years in competitive intelligence, market research, product marketing, or industry analysis.
• Understanding of data/AI landscape, analytical platforms, ML infrastructure, agentic AI, vector datastores, Iceberg/Delta/Hudi.
• Hands-on with GenAI tooling, prompt engineering, agentic monitoring like Crayon.
• Experience with enterprise software sales cycle and enabling sales teams.
• Knowledge of cloud ecosystem (public, hybrid, on-premises).
• Hybrid in San Diego, CA, USA or London, UK; travel up to 15%.
