Salary: $151,000 — $297,000 USD (U.S.-based candidates only)

What you will do

• Define 12-month roadmap for Query Execution using industry trends and technical vision.
• Deliver long-term goals by writing production-ready C++ code, coordinating strategies, and innovating high-performance query execution.
• Advise on architecture decisions, collaborate with stakeholders on large initiatives.
• Mentor team members, lead by example, conduct interviews, and share knowledge.

Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on experience in query engine development or database internals
• Experience building production code for large user bases with robust design and quality
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, strong in data structures, algorithms, software design
• Experience with large C++ codebases: tracing defects, estimating complexity, designing integrations
• Proven technical leadership: defining and driving component roadmaps
• Experience in database query engines theory and practice

• Hands-on or academic experience in database domain
