Location: Redmond, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated hirify.global office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: $119,800 – $234,700 (General US), $158,400 – $258,000 (SF/NYC)

What you will do

• Lead cross-team engineering efforts to build business-critical products for publishers and buyers on the Monetize platform.
• Design and implement scalable, high-quality solutions for the real-time platform with strict hard real-time constraints.
• Collaborate with Product Management and engineering leads to construct feature requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop prototypes quickly and iterate based on client feedback to bring innovation to the product lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers on software development best practices to increase code efficiency and robustness.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor and resolve production-level issues in an expedient manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Must be able to pass the hirify.global Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
• Ability to meet US government and hirify.global security screening requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience (or Bachelor's with 8+ years).
• Experience building high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed systems, preferably in a Linux environment.
• Proven track record with advanced optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of generalized architecture patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Excellent fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and time complexity.
