What you will do

• Verify test orders and patient identification before performing venipunctures.
• Obtain and maintain integrity of blood specimens using aseptic techniques and isolation procedures.
• Track specimens by initialing, dating, and logging collections; maintain daily tallies.
• Resolve unusual test orders by contacting the mobile phlebotomy team or originator.
• Update job statuses in Skedulo, manage requisitions, and handle billing questions.
• Schedule courier pickups and ensure safe work environment compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience; High School Diploma required (RN/BS/BA preferred).
• National Phlebotomy Certification (may be required depending on state).
• Work in mobile/remote setting in Suffolk County, NY with scrubs, closed-toed shoes, and proper PPE.
• Complete hirify.global training and SOPs within 30 days; maintain current training status.
• Handle PHI in paper and electronic forms; access various technologies.
