Senior Software Engineer (Crypto Media)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary annual target bonus, performance incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services and React applications powering real-time content delivery, monetization, and interactive features across web and mobile.
• Build and integrate AI-powered agentic workflows using LLMs and emerging AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with product teams to improve SEO, page speed, web performance, and content indexing.
• Instrument features, analyze outcomes, and iterate using analytics and product metrics.
• Work with designers, product managers, and editors to deliver user-centric media products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering, content caching, and web performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with AI agents, LLM integrations, or agentic development patterns such as tool use, RAG, and multi-step workflows.
• Experience with secure coding, CI/CD, DevSecOps, analytics, A/B testing, design systems, and large-scale content or digital media platforms.

Nice to have

• React Native experience for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Sanity CMS or other headless CMS platforms.
• Experience with Vercel, edge functions, and serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, ad management systems, paywalls, or data analytics tools.
