What you will do

• Define and maintain a 3-year roadmap for foundational manufacturing processes, focusing on miniaturization and high-density electronics.
• Establish "Golden Processes" to serve as the technical skeleton for all New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Develop and protect proprietary manufacturing IP to maintain a competitive advantage in form factor and robustness.
• Drive excellence in epoxy molding, water-tightness, and optical solutions for biosignal sensing.
• Own the strategy for ultra-miniaturized SMT, including component size roadmaps and flexible PCB handling.
• Qualify Contract Manufacturer (CM) sites to run proprietary processes at high volume with required yield and capacity.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in high-volume Consumer Electronics, Wearables, Medical Devices, or Semiconductors.
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams of senior and staff-level engineers.
• Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical expertise.
• Experience managing strategic relationships with equipment vendors and guiding CMs to scale proprietary recipes.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones in a global organization.
