What you will do

• Manage day-to-day landowner relationships for eastern wind projects, particularly in New York, to maintain trust and continuity.
• Lead and execute lease negotiations, extensions, and amendments in coordination with land and legal leadership.
• Coordinate site identification, prospecting, project permitting, site studies, and overall due diligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, legal, and interconnection to execute project strategy.
• Track and manage development schedules, milestones, and risks to ensure projects successfully reach construction.
• Represent the company professionally in external meetings with landowners and local officials.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of project development experience in renewable energy, real estate development, or infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in renewable energy, urban planning, finance, engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% on average.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for relationship-driven negotiations with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, utilities, interconnection, and permitting.
• Self-reliant professional capable of operating with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
