EPC Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Define RFPs and scope of work for 3rd party EPC firms and lead contract negotiations.
• Conduct due diligence on potential solar sites, including analysis of environmental and geo-technical reports.
• Act as the Owner's Representative for EPC contract management on US-based PV solar and energy storage projects.
• Manage contractor schedules, budgets, EHS plans, and utility interconnection processes.
• Coordinate internal teams (engineering, legal, finance) and external stakeholders, including landowners and government agencies.
• Lead the project turnover process from Construction to the Asset Operations team.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, or construction management.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in construction project management.
• Experience with distributed generation or utility-scale PV solar project construction.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic solar design and civil/structural technical standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, and MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Valid US work authorization (E-Verify).

Nice to have

• Experience in energy storage projects.
• Project Management Institute (PMP) certification.
• Specific renewable energy project experience.
