Sr Accounting Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes for the EMEA region, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounting operations for assigned EMEA entities and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Support the operational launch and ongoing accounting oversight of the new Poland entity.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes across global entities.
• Review and supervise the work of accounting staff, providing coaching and development support.
• Partner with external auditors and local advisors to support statutory audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Legal authorization to work in Poland on the first day of employment (no visa sponsorship).
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or Polish Certified Auditor (Biegły Rewident).
• Progressive accounting experience within multinational or high-growth environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
• Prior people management experience with the ability to lead and develop team members.

Nice to have

• Experience working with multinational entities, intercompany accounting, and FX accounting.
• Experience with payroll operations in a global context.
