What you will do

• Manage end-to-end bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for US, Canada, UK, and international contractors.
• Handle off-cycle payments, including bonuses, commissions, severance, and reimbursements.
• Partner with People Operations, Finance, and external vendors like Deel and Fidelity to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare payroll tax filings and reconcile reports for monthly close processes.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation for payroll tasks.
• Assist with the processing of equity transactions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience processing multi-state and international payrolls.
• Detailed knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Workday and other HRIS/payroll software.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Paylocity, Deel, HiBob, or similar payroll systems.
• Experience with equity processing.
• Comfort and experience applying AI to business processes.
