What you will do
- Define the technical architecture for AI Studio, the end-to-end AI development environment.
- Integrate AI Studio with Vantage's query engine, model registry, feature store, and agent harness.
- Establish patterns for trustworthy AI workflows, from data preparation to agent-driven automation.
- Act as the senior technical voice for AI Studio, aligning architecture with product strategy.
- Collaborate with Core Data Platform, Security, and Governance teams to ensure enterprise-grade AI controls.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years as a senior architect or principal engineer.
- Expertise in designing AI/ML platforms, including model serving, feature stores, and MLOps pipelines.
- Deep understanding of LLM integration patterns, such as RAG architectures and agent tool-calling interfaces.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms like Vantage, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Must be based in California, USA for on-site work.
Nice to have
- Experience building developer-facing platforms, such as SDKs, APIs, or IDEs.
- Familiarity with open-source AI tools like MLflow, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LangGraph.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, model lineage, and responsible AI guardrails.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized ML workloads (Kubernetes, Docker).
