Salary: $190,000 – $280,500 USD / 237,500 – 280,500 CAD

What you will do

• Design and build high-quality APIs and services for the international adaptation of the platform.
• Implement AI-native engineering practices using Claude Code and agentic workflows to increase delivery speed and quality.
• Develop across the full stack to ship performant and reliable experiences to tens of millions of users.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to transform complex user problems into scalable engineering solutions.
• Establish AI-native playbooks and technical standards for the broader organization.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and operating high-quality, consumer-scale services.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Strong proficiency in modern Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field or equivalent professional experience.
