What you will do

• Take high-priority problems from concept to shipped product through discovery, prototyping, and validation.
• Build and deploy natively agentic workflows, including multi-step agents, tool use, and retrieval systems.
• Develop supporting infrastructure like evals, harnesses, and sandboxes to enable rapid, rigorous development.
• Translate frontier-model capabilities into tangible product features.
• Partner across product, platform, and GTM teams to ensure successful execution and handoffs.
• Iterate based on real-user feedback and make data-driven decisions on whether to scale or kill projects.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Proven track record of taking projects from zero to one in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Experience building and shipping agentic systems in production, including tool use and evals.
• Fluency with frontier models, prompt design, and structured output.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with the ability to deploy and operate services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear documentation for leadership and product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform products or shared infrastructure.
• Background in fintech, accounting, or professional services software.
• Experience in generalist engineering roles like founding engineer or tech lead.
